Poop! I blame the dog!

So let's get this blog started.  The inspiration behind why I started a blog.

This is Floyd ...

So yesterday I let Floyd out to go the toilet, midway through changing Lady Charlotte (our youngest daughter).  Next I hear him barking like a complete nutter so I leave Charlotte to go and investigate outside.  I get side tracked into a conversation with a neighbour who is walking her dog.  Long story short, I return to five missed calls on my phone (son was trying to contact me), Sophie screaming around the house looking for me in a blind panic ... And the now not so lady like Charlotte rolling around the media room floor, caking herself in ...

Yup you guessed it... Her own poo!

I thought it was hilarious!  Our son, Xavier was mortified and couldn't believe I took a photo and the slightly traumatised Miss Sophie just kept repeating ... "I think she's trying to eat it, mummy.  I think she's trying to eat it!"

I truly did think it was hilarious until our son stormed out of the room in disgust, followed closely by Miss Sophie and I realised that I was now left with the mammoth job of trying to strip Charlotte down and get her upstairs into the bath by myself as everyone had dispersed!  Also I didn't think it was so funny at 10:30pm when I was still trying to clean her play gym mat that was covered in said poo!

I'm not 100% sure if she ate it or not, however the rings that she was sucking on were sufficiently covered in poop and her face wasn't particularly clean either!

Another lesson learned and the inspiration for my BLOG!

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to all that may stumble across my blog.  I am a mother to three beautiful and wonderful children and I've created this blog as it has just occurred to me, that as a mother of three our busy daily lives are filled with some funny shit and I wanted a place to share and record these events as they happen to be.

My husband and I live in Rangiora, New Zealand and our three children are 16, 4 and 4 months at the time I am creating this blog.  I wish I had thought to do this earlier as I'm sure our journey to date has been fraught with some hilarious and trying times that would have been worthy of sharing, as well as some proud parenting moments with our eldest son Xavier.  But alas as they always say, better late than never.

Sit back and enjoy!
